Maleza accompanied Veronica Jaramillo's residency research around a single argument: a weed is defined entirely by context. Her work built a character cycling between organic matter and concrete, held in tension from both sides. Seeds, maracas, and tactile surface recordings were the source material. Granular synthesis and wavetable processing pulled out the friction. The score doesn't illustrate the concept. It sits in the same space.
